So our April has been quite busy. I was gone the first couple of days. On the 6th it was Adam's 30th birthday. Mom and Dad came the night before so they were here that morning. I made Cassie's yummy Coffee Cake for him and we all watched him open his presents. Mom and Dad left and we watched General Conference. That night we went to Macaroni Grill with Adams family. Later that week we went to Texas Road House to celebrate with friends.
Adam is the ward clerk in our ward and so we knew there was going to be a new Bishop. Adam is still the ward clerk and excited to get to know the new men he will be working with. It is kind of funny because the new Bishop lives behind us, there is one house in between the first counselor and the Bishop and the second counselor lives in the house across the cul-de-sac from us. I guess that we are living were are supposed to be.
Last week we went to see Vantage Point with friends. I am still not sure how I feel about this movie. Has anyone else watched it? What do you think.
This past Sunday I had to talk at the old folks home for their sacrament meeting. I was so nervous. The topic was Spring/New Beginnings. I still don't know what your supposed to tell people in a home about new beginnings. I am sure most of them just wanted to kill over right then and there and start their new faze of life... We also went to Aunt Susann's for dinner. It was fun to be with family. It was also my cousins (Bailey and Mikell) birthdays so we had a little party for them.
Wow! My life is super boring. Sorry. Now you know why I haven't posted for such a long time.
